A lot of High Low: TIFF 2019's Red Carpet Looks
When you live in Toronto, you can't help but feel a bit of ennui when you start hearing "Let's go to the Ex" because you know it means that summer is coming to an end. Fortunately though, The Ex ads are soon replaced with TIFF excitement!
For 11 days in September, you're filled with the possibility of seeing an actor from your favourite film or a style icon decked out in the latest finery! TIFF is a glorious and exciting time to be a Torontonian.
As per usual, we've been keeping an eye on this year's TIFF Red Carpet looks and we like what we see! From rich golds to deep purples, we're seeing a lot of gowns featuring high-low hemlines - a great way to show off a little leg, while still keeping it formal.
Here are our favourite looks so far...
Lili Reinhart at the 'Hustlers' TIFF premiere in a dramatic white Rodarte gown.
Brie Larson showed up in a gorgeous, dramatic pink Giambattista Valli floral print dress for her 'Just Mercy' premiere.
Newly engaged 'This is Us' star, Susan Kelechi, attended her 'A Beautiful Day in the Neighbourhood' premiere in a deep purple Christian Siriano high-low gown.
Constance Wu glittered at the 'Hustlers' premiere in a sequin Georges Hobeika number with an oversized, draping bow.
And of course, JLo is always a crowd pleaser! Jennifer Lopez glowed in a golden, ruffled Maison Yeya gown.
